This is my favourite modern romantic comedy.

Katherine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart, 

was the 1941 hit, The Philadelphia Story.

Stewart won a Best Actor Oscar for his work in the movie, 

while Hepburn was nominated, but lost to Ginger Rogers in Kitty Foyle.
