I'm delighted that an excerpt from my mystery novel, Framed for Murder, was accepted for the 2026 inaugural edition of the Blue Lobster Detective Agency. Published by the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia, this micro-anthology is a collection of short stories and excerpts from longer works of crime and mystery fiction by Nova Scotia writers.
The anthology will be launched at "Crime Will Tell," a celebration of crime and mystery fiction by Nova Scotia writers organized by Crime Writers of Canada in partnership with the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia and Halifax Public Libraries. Free printed copies of the anthology will be available at this event on Saturday, September 12 from 11am to 1:30pm at the Halifax Central Library. The anthology will also be available on September 14 through the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia website; digital copies will be free of charge, and limited print copies will be available for the cost of shipping.
